Terms & Conditions

Where we use the term ‘you’ it refers to the consumer. The term ‘we/us/ourselves’ refers to us Murano Eyewear Ltd. By using this site, you are agreeing to the Terms and Conditions stated below.

Orders/Ordering

All orders placed with us will be normally dispatched within 3 working days of processing.

All frame orders are dispatched via the Royal Mail service either first class, signed for or special delivery depending on the value of the order. Any orders for cases or point of sale are dispatched 2nd class unless they are included with a frame order.

Please allow five working days after placing an order before contacting us about any lost in post claims. Any lost in post claims will be followed up accordingly and treat on a case to case basis.

Upon receipt of the goods all risk is passed over to yourselves. This means that any loss or damage after receipt of the goods is your responsibility.

If an order is placed via our website, e-mail or sales agent and there is a frame out of stock one of two things will happen;

  • If the frame is temporarily out of stock it will be placed on back order and this will be noted on the invoice dispatched with the rest of the order.
  • If the frame is discontinued and will not be back in stock, we will contact you with alternative options. If after two working days of the initial contact, we haven’t heard back we will send out the order and note on the invoice about the frame that isn’t included.

Frames ordered on approval are sent without a case and cloth. These can be ordered separately based of how many frames you decide to keep.

The terms of our approval are that no more than five frames can be sent on approval at once and there is a fourteen working day return time before it is assumed the frames are being kept. If any special requirement is needed for the terms of approval frames, mention this on placing the order, and they will be dealt with on a case by case basis.

Delayed return of frames ordered on approval or damaged frames being returned may result in the frames not being credited. Again, this will be determined on a case by case basis.

Frame Warranty/Returns

We provide all our frames with a two-year guarantee. This guarantee covers manufacturing faults only. Manufacturing faults do not include; normal wear and tear, loss and/or theft of the frame, accidental breakage and improper use of frames.

When a claim is put under warranty, we offer either a frame repair service, replacement parts or replacement full frame. These will be invoiced when dispatched but upon return of the faulty part/frame we will credit the invoice so there will be no charge.

Returns for reason other than replacement must be confirmed prior to sending. This can be confirmed with your sales agent or by contacting the office on 08448 542 777 or by e-mailing admin@muranoeyewear.co.uk.

Any frames returned that have not been agreed prior may be returned to the sender.

Payment

All goods remain the property of Murano Eyewear Ltd until such time that they are paid for in full. Upon full payment of the goods the title of the goods belongs to the recipient.

All payments should be made in line with the invoice terms agreed between yourselves and Murano eyewear Ltd. If these terms are broken, then we will take the appropriate action and you will be notified of the process as it is carried out.

Complaints Process

Any complaints should be made in writing to admin@muranoeyewear.co.uk. If this is not possible, they should be made via telephone, to 08448 542 777, and followed up with a letter to ourselves. Any complaints will be dealt with on a case by case basis and in line with company policies and the terms and conditions we practice by.

This website contains material which is owned by or licensed to us. This material includes, but is not limited to, the design, layout, look, appearance and graphics. Reproduction is prohibited other than in accordance with the copyright notice.
